How MeshMesh does it

  1. Answers questions about how the page behaves. In one case it explained that a contact information token does not render in preview because it resolves only at runtime through a personalized link.
  2. Audits the consent chain behind the page and finds gaps that would break the live page for some recipients.
  3. Delivers a phased remediation plan with Apex scripts. In that case the plan was not run.
  4. Builds the data model first: custom fields, a permission set, layouts and Communication Subscriptions with Email channel types.
  5. Sets up Data 360 data objects, relationships and a segment for the page, and in one case loaded demo data, provisioned Data 360 and enabled Marketing Cloud Next.
  6. Drafts the preference center HTML page, and offers other navigation paths when the user gets stuck in setup, such as a site selector loop.

Publishing the finished page often comes next. See Build Marketing Landing Pages.
