Configure Contract Amendments

This capability sets up amendment and change-order quote flows for existing contracts, so a user can change what a customer already owns and get a new quote from it.

Method

How MeshMesh does it

  1. Prepares the org for a change order. It creates and assigns permission sets, fixes the order address, activates the order and assetizes the assets.
  2. Checks in the browser that the setup is ready. Then it walks through the amendment flow, from selecting the asset to the auto-created Amendment Quote with editable bundle components.
  3. Builds a custom LWC wizard with Apex for asset swaps and upgrades.
  4. Works out the amendment, repricing and order-creation path through invocable actions and the swap REST API.
  5. Fixes the asset reference handling on the swap quote actions. It then deploys the fixes and runs an end-to-end test.
