Audit Salesforce Technical Debt

MeshMesh inspects an org's code, automation, permissions, packages and limits, then hands back a severity-ranked findings report with quick wins and an executive summary. It mostly finds and ranks the problems. Fixes are usually left to the user.

How MeshMesh does it

  1. Lays out a phased audit plan and waits for the user to approve it before running anything.
  2. Queries the org for users, profiles, permission sets, Apex classes, triggers, workflow rules and flows. When a query fails, it adjusts and retries. In one audit it regrouped permission set assignments by permission set name.
  3. Works through org limits, installed packages, custom code quality, the automation inventory and field use, phase by phase. In one audit it flagged low Apex test coverage as critical. Process Builder and Workflow Rules are the features that come up most often.
  4. Ranks findings by severity and adds an effort estimate and a specific action for each.
  5. Delivers an executive summary with severity-ranked recommendations and quick wins.
  6. On a longer job it went past the audit. It built sample records and a lookup with layout changes, then deployed a related list on a record page.
