Migrate Records Between Orgs

Copy records, and the products, price books and templates they depend on, from a source org into a target org. The copies keep their relationships to each other.

How MeshMesh does it

  1. Rebuilds the data model in the target org when it is missing there: custom objects, fields, tabs, a permission set and page layouts.
  2. Queries the source org for the records to copy.
  3. Loads dependent records in order, such as products and price book entries before the opportunity line items that use them, and recreates parent-child relationships on the target.
  4. Remaps IDs that differ between orgs, for example matching products by name, and retries records that failed for missing references or special characters.
  5. Cleans up duplicate records left by retries.
  6. Resumes an interrupted script to finish the remaining objects.
  7. Runs verification queries to confirm the copied data is accurate.
