Build Custom LWC Components
You get working custom Lightning Web Components, usually backed by Apex, placed on record pages, apps, tabs and sites, and fixed when they break.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Writes the LWC with a custom field it needs, then deploys it to the Account record page through a FlexiPage.
- Grants field-level security through a permission set so a new field can be written.
- Builds the Apex controller and test class behind a component, along with the LWC bundle, a FlexiPage and a custom tab.
- Checks the component in App Builder with live data.
- Deploys to a sandbox and a production org, runs the production Apex tests, and adds a page layout, reports and a dashboard around the component.
- Fixes bugs found after deployment, such as a filter issue and a time zone bug.
- Keeps a component's
@apiproperties stable when changing it, so the page reference still works, then redeploys.
Charting components often use Chart.js. For that kind of work, see Build Dashboard LWC Components.
