Configure Translation Workbench Languages

Users get Salesforce labels, picklist values, fields and records shown in more languages, with the languages switched on and translators assigned in Translation Workbench.

How MeshMesh does it

  1. Checks that the target language is active and that the user has translation permissions. Where a user is blocked, it assigns them as a translator and sets the languages to Active.
  2. Deploys translations for object labels, picklists and custom fields as metadata, object by object.
  3. Works through Rename Tabs overrides for objects that need them, and lists the ones still pending.
  4. When the standard translation routes do not work, as with Financial Services Cloud industry picklists, it tries other routes and falls back to toLabel in SOQL in the Apex controllers.
  5. Hands verification back to the user, such as spot checks in the Translation Workbench UI.

For the underlying picklist values themselves, see Configure Picklist Fields.
