Configure Lightning Home Pages
The user gets a home page for a sales or service app, often with dashboards, reports and Agentforce components, built in Lightning App Builder and ready to activate. The work also includes diagnosing home pages that display wrongly.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Checks whether a requested page feature is standard or tied to an industry cloud before building.
- Builds the reports and dashboards the home page will show, then deploys and checks them.
- Reads the existing home page through a metadata retrieve, because FlexiPage cannot be queried directly.
- Builds and deploys the home page layout in Lightning App Builder, sometimes with custom components, and activates it.
- Seeds sample data and checks the finished page in the browser.
- For display problems, connects to the org and inspects the page in the browser to find the cause before changing anything.
