Solution Engineering105 tasks
Analyze Salesforce Feature Capabilities
A user asks how a Salesforce feature works or whether it can meet a customer need. MeshMesh researches the question and returns a written answer or report, sometimes with example artifacts. It rarely configures anything in an org.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Starts from the user's question. In one case the user asked which Marketing Cloud Personalization features would have no place in the new Data 360-based Salesforce Personalization. In another, the user asked where a feature is configured, where it appears and whether it is free or paid.
- Researches the question across internal docs and web sources. For pricing it can point to the official pricing page, release notes and third-party comparison articles.
- Writes the answer or report. One example is a gap analysis that lists features with no equivalent in the new product, such as server-side campaigns, triggered experiences, Einstein Recipes, catalog ETL and open time email.
- Sometimes prepares a hands-on test outside Salesforce. In one case it set up a trial of a non-Salesforce marketing platform and wrote a reference document and a phased testing plan, but its login attempt failed and testing never started.
