Configure DevOps Center Pipelines

Get a DevOps Center pipeline in place, with a project, stages, environments and work items, so changes can move from development sandboxes toward production.

How MeshMesh does it

  1. Connects to the org, confirms the DevOps Center permission sets are assigned and checks that Next-Gen DevOps Center is enabled.
  2. Checks for the Governance, Change Management and DevOps Testing setup pages. When they are missing, it reports that quality gates, policies and approval workflows cannot be set up.
  3. Builds the project, pipeline, stages, environments and work items through the API and the Salesforce CLI.
  4. Deploys metadata components to the development sandboxes.
  5. Works through the rules that pipeline activation enforces, such as authorized environments, bundled stages, stage order and orphan stages. When activation stays blocked and the user pauses the work, the commit, approve and promote steps are left to the user in the DevOps Center UI.
