Build Agentforce Custom Lightning Types
Agents show cards, carousels and other rich components in chat instead of plain text. MeshMesh builds the renderer, the action that feeds it and the agent wiring that ties them together.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- When the work moves a type into a sandbox, drafts a phased deployment plan for approval before building.
- Builds the data side: an Apex data class and an invocable action that returns the records the card will show. Where the data lives outside Salesforce, the Apex class calls the external service and a Remote Site Setting allows the call.
- Creates the Lightning type bundle and an LWC renderer for the custom output, such as a case card or a carousel of clickable cards.
- Adds a permission set, registers the action with the agent, and writes the Agent Script with a messaging connection.
- Deploys with Apex tests, publishes the agent and republishes the Enhanced Chat site.
- Tests the output in a live chat session and checks that the cards respond to clicks.
