Configure Agentforce Agent Lifecycle
Get an agent or agent version into the state you want: active, inactive, reverted to an earlier setup, or deleted and cleaned out of the org.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Checks the agent's current state, such as whether the default employee agent is active.
- Looks up the agent and its versions in metadata. It works around objects that cannot be queried, such as
AiAuthoringBundle. - Drafts a phased plan and waits for the user to approve it before changing anything.
- Activates the agent through Agentforce Builder when permissions allow.
- Changes topics and planner settings, and reverts a topic to its original functions and instructions when the user asks.
- Removes bot and flow metadata with destructive deploys. This is where most errors occur.
