Deploy Agentforce Agents to Slack
Get an Agentforce agent built, activated and connected to a Slack workspace with the right permissions, so employees can use it from Slack. MeshMesh usually handles the Salesforce side. The Slack connection is where the work stalls.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Inspects the existing agent through metadata and the browser, for example to find out why a service agent transferred straight away.
- Builds or edits the agent in Agent Script and publishes it.
- Adds the Slack connection, activates the agent and assigns the permission sets.
- Confirms the agents in Slack Admin and creates a Salesforce user with the permission sets the agents need to show for that user.
- Checks the user, the bot definitions and the workspace at the end, and fixes agent visibility in Slack through a permission set when it is missing.
