Integrate Agents Into External Apps
Get an Agentforce agent answering inside an app outside Salesforce, such as a Microsoft Teams bot, a web chat app or Siri, through the Agent API and an External Client App.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Sets up an External Client App with OAuth or JWT auth on the org.
- Tests Agent API calls before building on them. In one case the user's own curl tests confirmed the setup.
- Builds the middleware between the external app and the agent, such as a Node.js bot that relays Teams messages or a Node/Express proxy with streaming.
- Builds the agent itself when needed. One example is an Agent Script agent with Flow-backed actions for product lookup and meeting booking.
- Builds the client side or guides the user through it. It built a web chat app and wrote step-by-step Apple Shortcut instructions with values pre-filled.
- Runs multi-turn conversations and packages the demo with docs.
